Oh ED

I got another unexpected photo to add to my Weekend Photo Tour. About 9:45 last night mom called to say dad had been hurt while working on the garage door. Apparently the spring on the garage door was still tight, it released and parts went flying. One of the wheels hit him in the face, across the eye. His eye instant swelled shut. So mom immediately called 911. He went to my hospital and ended up with 3 fractures. Two open fractures below his eye and one crushed fracture above his eye. There isn't any damage to his actual eye though. So we were in the ED with him until 2:30. They were their until 4:30. He ended up with three stitches and the doctor kept saying it's going to be a nasty scar. He has to follow up with a surgeon to make sure his bones are healing and he won't need surgery. He's in very little pain and will be on antibiotics for a while since it's an open fracture.
